When you connect your Facebook Page or Instagram account to Automo, we access certain data through the Meta Graph API under permissions you explicitly authorise during the OAuth flow. This includes:
pages_manage_posts, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement).instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_content_publish).We store the access tokens issued by Meta solely to perform the actions you authorise. We do not sell, rent, or share your Facebook or Instagram data with any third parties, and we do not use this data for advertising or any purpose beyond the features you explicitly use within Automo.
You may disconnect your Facebook Page or Instagram account from Automo at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon disconnection, we immediately delete the associated access tokens and cease all API access to your accounts. You may also request complete deletion of all your data by contacting us. Additionally, Meta may send us a data deletion request on your behalf, which we process automatically by removing all stored tokens and associated identifiers linked to your Facebook or Instagram user ID.
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest. We perform regular backups and maintain strict access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; in the event of a data breach we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
We do not sell your data. We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service — including hosting providers, payment processors, and email delivery services — subject to confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose data when required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
You are responsible for the customer data you store on Automo. You must ensure you have obtained appropriate consent from your customers to collect and store their information. We act as a data processor for your customer data and process it solely on your instructions.
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand how the platform is used and improve it over time. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account cancellation, your data is retained for up to 30 days to allow for export. After this period, your data — including vehicle listings, photos, leads, customer records, deals, and settings — is permanently and irreversibly deleted. Some data may be retained longer where required by applicable law.
